The most beautiful beaches around Jasmins Studio
Where to swim between Golfe-Juan, Antibes and Cannes?
One of the great privileges of a stay in Jasmins Studio is being able to choose your beach according to your desires.
In less than twenty minutes by car, you can reach dozens of beaches, each very different from the others. Some are appealing for their sand, others for the clarity of their water, their calm, their surroundings, or the ease of parking.
Over the years, my guests have often asked me the same question:
"Which beach do you recommend?"
My answer is always the same:
It all depends on what you're looking for.
So here are my favorites.
For a first day of vacation
Picasso Beach in Golfe-Juan
This is often the one I recommend first.
She is close to Jasmins Studio, easily accessible and offers a beautiful sandy beach with a gentle slope, ideal for families.
From the beach, the view of Cap d'Antibes is magnificent.
In the morning, when the sea is calm, the colours of the water are particularly beautiful.
Why I love this beach
Because it allows you to start your vacation without having to travel far.

For families

Ponteil beach in Antibes
If you are travelling with children, this is probably my first choice.
The beach is supervised.
Trees provide shade.
Benches are available for resting.
The seaside walk is pleasant.
And the old town of Antibes is only a few minutes away.
You can easily alternate between swimming, walking and ice cream in the old town.
Why I love this beach
Because it allows you to spend a whole day without getting back in the car.
For the beauty of the landscape
La Garoupe
In my opinion, it's one of the most beautiful beaches on the French Riviera.
It is relatively small.
Its water is remarkably clear.
The setting is superb.
It also marks the start of the famous coastal path of Cap d'Antibes.
I often recommend combining swimming with a walk on the trail.

To combine beach and sightseeing

La Gravette
La Gravette is located at the foot of the ramparts of Antibes.
It is one of the few beaches where you can easily alternate between swimming and exploring a historic center.
I advise you to leave your car near Fort Carré, then use the free shuttle that serves the old town.
After swimming, lose yourself in the narrow streets of Antibes before settling down on a café terrace.
For easy parking
Fontonne Est
Finding a parking space on the French Riviera is not always easy in the summer.
Fontonne Est beach has a significant advantage: parking is free.
It is less known to tourists, which often makes it more peaceful.

To enjoy the atmosphere

Juan-les-Pins
Even if you don't go swimming, go to Juan-les-Pins at least once.
During the day, the beaches are very lively.
In the evening, the seaside promenade takes on a completely different atmosphere.
Restaurants, ice cream parlors, terraces, shops… everything invites you to stroll.
I made a short video that will allow you to discover this atmosphere.
My advice
I often recommend going to the beach before 10 a.m..
You will find it easier to get a parking space, the sea will often be calmer and the light magnificent.
In summer, I also enjoy late afternoon swims. The heat subsides, the colours become softer and the atmosphere is more peaceful.
My personal ranking
🥇 La Garoupe — pour la beauté du site.
🥈 Le Ponteil — pour une journée en famille.
🥉 La plage Picasso — because of its proximity to Jasmins Studio.
